Dr. Tino is an instructor of chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Physics. He received his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Yale University. For his thesis, he performed catalytic studies on metal carbonyls. Dr. Tino has taught Chemistry at both the high school level (most recently Hammond High Magnet School) and University levels not only in the USA but also in Kenya.
Area of Expertise
Dr. Tino teaches 1000-level chemistry lectures and lab courses. Dr. Tino is interested in helping students become master teachers at the K-12 level through innovative classroom management techniques and engaging the K-12 students through interactive technologies in the classroom.
