Jenna Fincher is a Kinesiology Instructor specializing in resistance training at Southeastern Louisiana University. She holds a Master of Science in Health & Kinesiology from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Louisiana Tech University. She is also a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Before her current role, Fincher taught art at Northeast Mississippi Community College, where she received the Teacher Outstanding Performance award in 2017.

Area of Expertise

With extensive experience as a certified personal trainer and fitness coach, Fincher provides instruction in Olympic weightlifting, resistance training, functional fitness, and yoga. She holds additional fitness certifications, including USAW Level 1 and CrossFit Level 2. Her current research in kinesiology focuses on the biomechanical, physiological, and psychophysiological responses to exercise, with work presented at conferences such as the American College of Sports Medicine. Her research interests include the effects of weightlifting accessories on force and load lifted.
