Move In Mane-ia is Southeastern’s official move-in experience for students living on campus. This exciting event kicks off the new academic year and helps residents settle into their new homes with ease. During Move In Mane-ia, you’ll check in, pick up your keys, and get assistance from our staff and volunteers as you move your belongings into your room. With scheduled time slots, helpful directions, and plenty of campus spirit, Move In Mane-ia makes starting your Southeastern journey smooth, organized, and fun!

All residents are required to sign up for a move in appointment time slot. Appointments will open on July 1st.
You should then be able to view, reschedule, or cancel your move in appointment. All residents with a reserved Academic Year room will receive an email with instructions to their Southeastern email.
Housing Check-In for all residents will be held between Saturday, August 16th (8am–4pm) and Sunday, August 17th (12pm–5pm) at the Pennington Center (The Rec).
Residents who cannot check in during these times may check in on Monday, August 18th, from 8am–4pm at the University Housing office in Pride Hall.
No after-hours check-in will be allowed.
You should have received an email with instructions on how to schedule your move-in date and time. After submitting your time slot request, you will receive a confirmation email. Residents must schedule their check-in time online in order to check in.
You must have your Southeastern ID to check in. If you are picking up a new (or replacement) university ID, you must present a government-issued photo ID or LA Wallet. No exceptions to this rule.
● Students must present their Southeastern ID (see Southeastern ID Information below).
● Students must be registered for at least 12 credit hours.
● All university fees must be paid in full, sufficient financial aid must be posted to cover the student’s balance (amounts available in WorkDay), or students with a Southeastern Payment Plan must have paid the $75 processing fee and pay for or have enough financial aid to cover the first installment. New Housing Residents:
● If you attended in-person Orientation and had your photo taken, you should have received your ID at Orientation.
● If you did not attend an in-person Orientation session or attended but did not have your ID photo taken, you will need to have your ID photo taken and ID processed at the Campus Card Operations station at the Pennington Center.
Returning Housing Residents:
● Returning residents must present their Southeastern ID at check-in.
● If you lost or need to replace your ID, visit the Campus Card Operations Office in the North Campus Financial Aid Building, Room 133 PRIOR TO CHECK IN to have a new ID printed.
All residents must present a government-issued photo ID or LA Wallet to pick up a new or replacement university ID. No exceptions.
Spaces not claimed by the end of the first day of classes, August 20th, 2025, will be considered a “no show,” and the resident’s assignment will be canceled at the end of the business day.
