For more than a decade, the Southeastern Community Music School at Southeastern Louisiana University has proudly and effectively provided the entire Northshore region with a vital community-based program of music education.

Our Spring 2015 semester has began and we are thrilled to have so many students on board. Their achievements have always made us proud, and we look forward to continuously nurturing their musical talent and sharing their success stories.

Below you will find the spring semester schedule highlights, which will help you plan effectively for your private lessons and ensemble participation. Please take a moment to read our "Policy Statement" as it contains important information on parking, lesson preparation, missed lessons, and recitals. Spring 2015 Calendar Highlights:

Week of January 26 (13 weeks)
• Private lessons

Week of February 2 (10 weeks)
• Theory classes
• Highschool/Adult Group Piano Class
• Beginning Violin Group Class
• Choir
• Fiddling Group Class

• February 16 -20 – Mardigras
• April 3 - April 10 – Spring Break

Recital Week:
• May 11

Register by January 19, 2015 to avoid late fee.
Recital Fee due by April 30, 2015.
