Scholastic Esports is about gaming but with a twist – an educational experience. The
Southeastern STILE/GEARUP community club allows Esports teams at Louisiana GEAR UP
schools extra online practice and coaching on the weekends. In addition to our resources
for established Esports teams, we are also available to assist administrators build
and grow an Esports team on their campus.
Our Esports Community Club meets with members of Esports teams on Saturdays to deliver
content that is tailored to the needs of each school’s team. We work during the week
to connect and collaborate with schools in each district to build and synergize the
Louisiana GEAR UP Esports community. We hope you will join us!
Eligible Students: 11th & 12th grade Louisiana GEAR UP students

Club members learn about college and career pathways and how to prepare through their
participation, networking with Southeastern Louisiana University faculty, alumni,
undergraduate students, and industry partners.
As an official NASEF community club, participating students gain the opportunity to
work on marketing, web development, Computer Science, Technology, and more career
paths to help build their futures. NASEF hand picks games they, and provide coaches
to healthily show students how to critically think, establish connections to their
peers, and use team work to achieve success in many ways.
