- CAMPUS LIFE
Southeastern's Summer Semester helps you get ahead faster and smarter!
A $300 credit will be given to all summer students (undergraduate and graduate) and will show on students' fee bills. This effectively makes the cost for most undergraduate students less than $300 per credit hour.*
*Undergraduate nursing students will have added fees specific to their situation.
Choose from hundreds of college courses!
Come to Southeastern this summer. You'll find high demand, relevant classes in three summer term options at a reduced cost.
Whether you wish to advance your studies or focus on a specific interest, you'll enjoy smaller class sizes as well as an intensive format that leaves time to explore a range of exciting summer activities.

Open Registration starts April 5.
For more detailed information on summer costs, see our Tuition and Fees.
If you are already admitted for the fall semester, you can begin taking classes at Southeastern this summer. You can take up to 6 hours (typically 2 classes) at a very low cost. By starting in the summer, you will be able to take advantage of two programs that reduce your cost: the Summer Scholars program that waives tuition for up to 6 hours and the Summer Smart savings which discounts your costs an additional $300.
High school students may apply for the Southeastern Scholars Program to attend classes during the summer.
Scholarships are available for part-time enrollment for qualified students who participate in this early admissions opportunity. These scholarships for high school students are in addition to the reduced cost for the summer semester classes. This allows you to get a head start on your college career at a significantly reduced cost.
Students from other universities can also take advantage of the Summer Smart Savings! Those wanting to attend Southeastern for the summer semester and then return to their home institution must submit an official transcript or an official letter showing good academic standing from the college or university currently attending.
