Our meal plans are flexible so you can get the most out of them. With the exception of the Commuter 300 Plan, there are two parts to each meal plan. The Meal Allowance represents the meal swipes you have available each semester with your meal plan (these all-you-care-to-eat meals are consumed at the Mane Dish). Cub Cash is declining balance dollars and supplements the weekly meal allowance to be used at all campus food service locations.
Once you have your meal plan, your student ID works like a debit card. Just swipe your card, and the meal charge is deducted from your account.

Undergraduate commuters registered for at least 6 credit hours in the Spring 2025 semester will receive the Commuter Meal Plan Scholarship for Spring 2025.(If a student received the award in Fall 2024, it is not awarded again for Spring 2025). Qualified students do not have to apply for the scholarship. It will be automatically applied to the student’s account.
The scholarship provides 10 all-you-can-eat meals at the Mane Dish (located on the 2nd floor of the Student Union) plus $20 in Cub Cash which can be used at any campus dining facility including the campus markets.
Meals and Cub Cash are accessed using the Southeastern ID. Any unused meals and / or Cub Cash will expire at the end of the Spring 2025 semester.
In addition to the meals and Cub Cash provided by the Commuter Meal Plan Scholarship, commuters are encouraged to purchase a Commuter Meal Plan. Commuter Meal Plans can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or by visiting Dining Services in Student Union Room 1521 (next to the Lion’s Den Food Court on the 1st floor of the Student Union).
