A Message from the President

As you may have seen in recent press reports, the Revenue Estimating Conference met earlier this week to adjust official revenue forecasts based on legislation enacted during the Special Session which ended last week.  Based on the information acted on at the REC meeting, there remains a shortfall in the current fiscal year state budget of nearly $70 million.  

 

We have been told that the amounts of any resulting specific reductions for higher education institutions will not be known until next week.  As always, I will apprise the campus when we have more information about any impact on Southeastern.
