2013 Distinguished Alumnus: Rosalind Bello

 

Rosalind Bello

Rosalind Bello is the director of health policy at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.  A 2001 graduate with a master's degree in health studies, Bello has been a prominent figure in public health administration and policy for the past 12 years. Prior to joining MD Anderson, she worked at Jackson State University on the African American Intervention Network on projects related to the HIV/AIDS program and with the Louisiana Public Health Institute, where she concentrated on the tobacco-free living program. As a director, she works in MD Anderson's Comprehensive Cancer Control Program handling communications and other administrative processes related to the initiative.
