Stuart “Vint” Massimini Sr. of Harahan has been the president and chief executive
officer of Gulf Engineering for the past 13 years. In his position, he is in charge
of general operations for the $20 million, family-owned business and its 160 employees
and handles all legal matters, governmental affairs, contracts and union negotiations.
The company is considered one of the top 100 private firms in New Orleans and currently
serves the petrochemical and power plants along the Mississippi River.
