Robert B. Young Jr. was president of the Lockheed Engineering & Sciences Co. (LESC) in Houston. He then succeeded Donald C. Jones as president of the corporation's Technology Services Group.
Young, at age 57, joined Lockheed as a senior staff engineer in 1973. He headed LESC
since the company was established in 1979. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics
and physics from Southeastern Louisiana University. Southeastern Alumni selected Mr.
Young as the 1992 Alumnus of the Year.
