Aimee Q. Adams, MA, CCC-SLP is the Clinic Director for the Communication Sciences and Disorders program within the Department of Health and Human Sciences. She serves as a clinical educator and instructor for CSD undergraduate courses and graduate clinical experiences. Mrs. Adams earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998, followed by a Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2000 from Louisiana State University. Since 2006, Mrs. Adams has worked in the Southeastern Speech-Language and Hearing clinic, supervising student clinicians in clinical practicum and teaching. As a practicing speech-language pathologist, Mrs. Adams has worked with people across the lifespan experiencing cognitive and communication disorders.
Aimee Q. Adams, MA, CCC-SLP teaches courses related to speech, language and communication diagnostics and clinical observations. Prior to joining the clinical faculty at Southeastern, Mrs. Adams worked in the private therapy sector with patients experiencing traumatic brain injury and cognitive communication impairments. As a part of Southeastern's clinical team, she has continued her work in speech pathology by working with developmental and early communication disorders in young children and with people of all ages experiencing communication challenges.
