Akeshia is the Administrative Assistant 3 in the Department of Mathematics. She is also the proud owner and founder of The Beeutiful Bees of Babysitting, where she combines her passion for early childhood education with entrepreneurial spirit.
Background:
Akeshia holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential in Infant & Toddler Care (2021), an Ancillary Teaching Certificate (2021), and earned her Associate Degree in Care and Development of Young Children in 2024. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations at Northwestern State University. She also teaches First Aid and CPR upon request.
