Blair Gallon is an instructor of art history in the Department of Visual Art + Design
specializing in Western Medieval art. Her research explores the role of the patron through
the lens of illuminated manuscripts and private devotional works, with an emphasis on
religious and royal iconography. She holds an M.A. from Louisiana State University. Blair
teaches Greek and Roman Art, Western Medieval Art, Italian Renaissance Art, Northern
Renaissance Art, Baroque Art, and Survey of World Art History I and II.Write a brief paragraph about yourself.
