Ms. Brittney Morris is the Undergraduate Coordinator of the General Studies Program, as well as, an advisor and instructor. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University. She specializes in assisting students with varied interests to reach their higher education goals through the General Studies program’s ability to provide customized degrees for each student. Her current research involves student perceptions of General Studies programs. She teaches both Career Planning 1040 through which students are able to learn about themselves and their unique personality, interests, values, and skills to make confident major and career decisions as well as Career Planning 3040 which assists students in taking their next steps toward preparing for work-world success after graduation through the building of resumes, networking skills, and negotiation strategy. As a first generation college student, it is Ms. Morris’s goal and passion to ensure students know that they are cared for and supported throughout their college journey.
