Mr. Sherman is an instructor of Earth and Space Science at Southeastern Louisiana University in the department of Chemistry and Physics. He teaches Geology, Meteorology, and Astronomy courses. Mr. Sherman has a Master’s of Science Degree from Tulane University in Earth Science, a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Purdue University in Earth and Atmospheric Science, and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural Sales and Marketing from Purdue University. His Masters thesis “Characteristics of the Debris Avalanche at Sierra Las Navajas, Hidalgo, Mexico” described a volcanic debris avalanche deposit on the volcano Sierra Las Navajas that occurred approximately two million years ago.
