Charlotte Weil

Mrs. Weil earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southeastern’s Communication and Media Studies Department. Shortly after graduation, she joined the Department as an adjunct instructor teaching Introduction to Public Speaking--or her undergraduate major--and has continued to be part of the Southeastern family ever since. In addition, she’s a full-time wellness consultant with Louisiana Blue and is the principle of her own event design firm.

Professionally Mrs. Weil has vast experience speaking publicly in the community via her full- time career as well as teaching and engaging students at Southeastern for 18+ years.

Public speaking skills are an essential tool in life; Mrs. Weil’s rubric focuses on real-life experiences to best prepare students for success well past the classroom. She centers her courses on connecting with an audience, gaining confidence while speaking in public and becoming an effective, active listener.
