Dr. David Camak is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the lab of Dr. Kyle Piller. Dr. Camak’s expertise is in the area of population genomics, conservation genomics, and bioinformatics. On the Maurepas project, he will monitor genetic variation among ictalurid catfishes, a recreationally and commercially important group of fishes in the lake. He will also play an important role in the analysis of fish assemblages based on environmental DNA (eDNA).
