Emily Zurek is an Instructor of Library Science and serves as the eResources and Web Services librarian at Sims Memorial Library. She is the library liaison to the Computer Science, Industrial and Engineering Technology, and Mathematics departments. She has a Bachelor of Science in Linguistics and Computer Science from Tulane University and a Master of Library Science with a concentration in Cultural Heritage Informatics from Simmons University. Her work has spanned academic libraries, archives, and special collections in both public and technical services. Currently, she is working to improve the Library’s digital presence through user experience and digital accessibility, while assisting students, faculty, and staff with accessing the Library’s electronic resources.
