Dr. Harold E. Davis is an Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Southeastern Louisiana University. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Inactive). Dr. Davis teaches both undergraduate and graduate level. His teaching focus includes Accounting Information Systems and Data Analytics, equipping students with the skills to navigate current and emerging technologies in the accounting profession. His research focuses on the impact of new technology on accounting and education, including innovations such as artificial intelligence, and his scholarship has been published in both academic and practitioner journals, most notably an article on RFID technology that was ranked third among all articles accepted the year it was published.
