Hunter Waddell

Mr. Hunter Waddell is an instructor and the undergraduate coordinator in the Communication and Media Studies department, with over a decade of experience working with students on Southeastern's campus. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from Southeastern. Apart from teaching courses in the department, he also coordinates academic advising for Communication undergraduates.

Mr. Waddell enjoys teaching practical application courses that students can incorporate into their academic and future careers. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, social media, and content creation for digital media. He teaches courses like Intro to Strategic Communication, Integrated Marketing Communication, and Social Media Data Analytics. His teaching style is collaborative, allowing students to interpret the course material in ways that suit their interests and personality, while providing support along the way. In his spare time, he enjoys hosting movie marathons with friends and trying new recipes.
