Irma Donley, is an instructor of Spanish and French, in the Department of English and World Languages at Southeastern Louisiana University. She received her M.A. in Romance Languages from The University of New Orleans, and an M.A. in French from Middlebury College. A native of Mexico, she joined SLU in 2017 and teaches all levels of French language courses and beginning Spanish language. In addition, she is the coordinator of the summer-study abroad program in Montpellier, France. She is particularly interested in Task-based teaching, Francophone culture, Hispanic culture, Colonialism in Mexico, XXI Century Latin American Literature, and the history of the Route of Cavite-Acapulco.
