Jamie Vicknair, M.B.A.

Jamie Vicknair is an Instructor in the Department of Management and Business Administration at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she has taught Business Communication (MGMT 2400) since 2019. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern Louisiana University. Known for her engaging teaching style, Jamie combines lectures and discussions to motivate students and also advises Business Administration majors, guiding them through their academic journey.

Jamie has been honored with the Golden Acorn Award for both the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years, recognizing the top 10% of instructors in the College of Business based on Student Opinion of Teaching (SOT) reports.

Prior to her current role, Jamie served as Coordinator of Registration Management Systems at Southeastern and worked as a Training Technical Assistance Specialist, gaining extensive experience in mentorship, program management, and student support. Her professional background informs her teaching and allows her to bring practical, real-world insights into the classroom.
