Jeffrey Bell, B.A., M.A., Ph.D.

Jeffrey Bell holds the C. Howard Nichols Professorship and is Professor of Philosophy at Southeastern Louisiana University. His books include An Inquiry into Analytic-Continental Metaphysics, Towards a Critical Existentialism, Philosophy at the Edge of Chaos, and Deleuze’s Hume: Philosophy, Culture and the Scottish Enlightenment. Among his edited books, he has co-edited Deleuze and History with Claire Colebrook, Beyond the Analytic-Continental Divide with Paul Livingston and Andrew Cutrofello, and Deleuzian Mind, which he edited with Henry Somers-Hall. He has also published numerous essays and chapters on intellectual history, cultural theory, and the philosophy of film.
