Joe Sabin is an Associate Professor of Sport Management. He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Mississippi School of Law. His research interests focus on the legal aspects of sports, including college athlete unionization, Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) issues, and other issues in intercollegiate athletics. He has published his work in journals such as the Journal of Sport Management and the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport. In addition to his academic publications, he has authored multiple articles for Forbes on topics related to the NCAA and NIL regulation. He is an active member of the Sport and Recreation Law Association (SRLA) and is a member of the organization’s Board of Directors.
