Lauren Rhodes is an Assistant Professor of Library Science and serves as the Head of the Electronic Resources and Serials Department. She earned her undergraduate degree at Spring Hill College and her Master of Library and Information Science degree from Louisiana State University. Before becoming the Head of the Electronic Resources and Serials Department, she was a reference and instruction librarian, teaching LS 1020: Introduction to Information Research and also served as the Electronic Resources and Web Services Librarian. Prior to her time at Southeastern Louisiana University, she worked as a high school librarian, focusing on college-readiness, curriculum development, and cataloging. Her recent academic interests include collection management, instructional technology, and accessibility.
