Dr. Lisa Brady is an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business at Southeastern. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama. Dr. Brady teaches courses in human resource management, organizational culture, business ethics, healthcare administration, and corporate social responsibility. She has instructed undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA courses, emphasizing experiential learning, critical thinking, and professional skill-building to prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving workplace.
Dr. Brady’s research focuses on employee well-being, management pedagogy, workplace sexual harassment, and the impact of artificial intelligence on workforce development. She has presented her work at national conferences, published in academic journals, and served in leadership roles with professional associations including the Southern Management Academy (SMA) and the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society (MOBTS). She is also co-investigator on the DARPA Artificial Intelligence Exploration (AIE) Grant.
A recipient of Southeastern Louisiana University’s 2023 Influential Educator Award, Dr. Brady mentors students, advises the campus chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), delivers workshops for the community, and partners with local businesses on workforce development initiatives. Outside the classroom, she enjoys engaging with students as a group fitness instructor at the Student Activity Center.
Dr. Lisa Brady's areas of expertise include Human resource management, employee psychological well-being, leadership, business ethics, diversity and inclusion, and the impact of artificial intelligence on employees and organizations.
