Rachel L. Carazo is a Lecturer in the Southeastern Dual Enrollment English Program. She is an Ed.D. candidate at St. Thomas University and an MLIS candidate at the University of Southern Mississippi. She also has a graduate degree in English from Northwestern State University. She specializes in pop culture and film studies, and she is the editor of “A Hero Will Endure”: Essays at the Twentieth Anniversary of ‘Gladiator’ (2023) as well as several other forthcoming volumes. Her research has been published in Humanities, and she has written numerous chapters for edited volumes. She has published two novels – The Vaïndrian Queen (2014) and The Edelstein (2020) – and is working on her third novel.
