Randall Frederick is an Instructor in the Department of English and World Languages. With an MA in Theology (Fuller Theological Seminary) and an MA in English Literature (Northwestern State University), his research explores contemporary American Religious History, Behavioral Ethics, and Classical Composition. His main courses include The Bible as Literature, The Romance Novel, Literature of the 1960s, American Literature, and Freshman Composition. As a member of Southeastern’s Faculty Senate, Executive Committee, Hearing Board, and as a frequent presenter at the Popular Culture Association of the South, he finds time on weekends to write about the impact of televangelism and politics on the American religious experience. He is pursuing ordination with the United Methodist Church.
