Rebecca Rushing, M.A.

Rebecca Rushing is an Instructor of English specializing in British Literature. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English at Southeastern Louisiana University and her Master’s degree at New York University. She is currently working on an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Southeastern Louisiana University. Her English research focuses on 16th century British Literature, particularly Shakespeare, and how it connects to modern fiction and fantasy like Tolkien and J.K. Rowling. Her dissertation is on women in vocational programs and how transformational leadership can improve their experience.
