Rosi Hall is an Instructor of Spanish in the Department of English and World Languages at Southeastern Louisiana University. She teaches language classes, World Folk Mythology, and the Civilization of Europe, among other courses. Her classes have a cultural studies lens that makes students analyze language, culture, and literature from a subaltern perspective. Dr. Hall has taught at Portland State University, Lewis and Clark College, and the University of Arizona. Dr. Hall earned her PhD in Spanish from the University of Arizona. She also has an MA in Spanish from Portland State University. During the summer, Dr. Hall takes students to Spain as part of the university’s Language and Culture Study Abroad Program. She is also the campus activities director for the Foreign Language Festival. She has a mentoring role as the faculty advisor for the World Languages Ambassador student group. In her free time, she plays soccer with her students.
