Mr. Rode’ has served as a full-time faculty member for 30 years, beginning in the Industrial Technology Department and currently in the Industrial and Engineering Department. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette) and his Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Alongside his academic career, he has worked with several local architectural firms and continues to manage his own private practice. Within the Industrial and Engineering Department, he primarily teaches courses in the Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, while also contributing to the Associate Degree in Construction Technology and one course in Design Drafting the Architectural drafting class.
