About:
Dr. Dutsch is an Instructor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics. He earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2000. He earned his M.S. (2003), Ed.S. (2016), and Ph.D. (2021) from Louisiana State University. Dr. Dutsch has been a full-time faculty member at Southeastern since 2006.
Teaching:
Dr. Dutsch regularly teaches math content courses for students majoring in education. Dr. Dutsch also teaches a wide range of freshmen level classes, such as applied calculus, trigonometry, elementary statistics, and applied algebra.
Dr. Dutsch is interested in teacher education preparation and student learning enhancement factors. He is also interested in middle and high school curricula within mathematics education. Additionally, Dr. Dutsch has interest in discrete-time control problems using probability theory.
