Samantha Perez, B.A., M.A., Ph.D.

Dr. Samantha Perez is an Associate Professor of History in the Department of History and Political Science, where she teaches courses on early modern Europe (from the Renaissance to the French Revolution), women in European history, and introductory surveys on western civilization. She earned her Ph.D. in History from Tulane University in 2017. Her research interests focus primarily on identity construction and performance in cross-cultural encounters and diplomatic engagement in Renaissance Italy.
