Sean Alan Marsh is an Instructor in the Department of English and World Languages. He obtained his MA at Southeastern Louisiana University. He currently teaches Composition and World Literature. In his composition courses, a wide variety of genres are explored, starting with narrative structure and ending with various forms of argument; film evaluation is also included. In his literature courses, canonical works from antiquity to the 20th century are explored.
Mr. Marsh has published several short stories, garnered several film making awards, and has been the founder, co-director, and director of the JAMFest Film Festival, which grew from a local festival to international in four years. It brings innovative film makers from as local as Hammond, Louisiana to the far reaches of Great Britain, Spain, France, Israel, and Iran. He has also written the narratives for several dance concerts for Southeastern Louisiana University.
