Caprice Lee-Holloway, PhD, CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Department of Health and Human Sciences’ Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) program. She earned her PhD in CSD from Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Lee-Holloway has clinical experience in the school and early intervention settings. She has received numerous honors, including selection as a Subject Matter Expert for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Practice Portal in the area of Speech Sound Disorders and recognition with ASHA’s Early Career Professionals Award.
Dr. Lee-Holloway’s expertise and research interests are child language, phonology, cultural diversity, and African American English (AAE). She has published in national and international journals on these topics and is currently developing a phonological speech assessment tool for AAE speakers to advance speech-language pathology clinical practice and research.
