Stephanie Welch is an instructor of Earth and Space Science in the Department of Chemistry and Physics.She received a master’s degree in Geology and Geophysics from Louisiana State University in 2009. Her educational background includes research in groundwater geochemistry and sources of salinity in freshwater aquifers. In addition to teaching courses in Geology, Astronomy, and Meteorology, she also provides STEM outreach with a portable planetarium at Pelican Park Recreation District in Mandeville, LA.
Stephanie has teaching experience in Geology, Astronomy, and Meteorology, research experience in groundwater geochemistry, and outreach experience in planetarium work.
