Dr. Stephen Suber is a professor of music theory, music history, and interdisciplinary Arts (HONR 1917).
He holds a Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University (also served on its faculty as a professor of composition, notation and calligraphy, and orchestration). He holds a Master of Music degree in composition from Mills College, Oakland, California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Principia College, Elsah, Illinois in Music and European History.
Dr. Suber primarily teaches courses in composition, music theory and music history and Interdisciplinary Arts (HONR 1917).
Over the decades Dr. Suber has enjoyed performances of his compositions around the world, many of which have have been published through the American Composers Alliance and BMI. Several of them have been recorded and are available on CDs and LPs.
