Tony Monvoisin, M.A.

Instructor

Carl “Tony” Monvoisin is an Instructor in the English and World Languages Department, teaching Freshman English Composition and World Literature. He achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and his Master’s Degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing at Southeastern Louisiana University from 2014 to 2020. His teaching philosophy is based around combining Personal Observation, Experiences, and Interpretations to develop Individual Critical-Thinking Skills that will help each student in Real-World situations. He specializes in writing creative fiction pieces and studying epic and mythological stories of the ancient past.

Area of Expertise

English Composition with a focus toward independent thought and interpretations around analysis and argumentation. World Literature with a focus on the epic, religious, and philosophical influences on literature and culture around the world. His expertise also includes Creative Writing, Mythology, and Film Studies.
