Note:

To access electronic resources off-campus, you will need to enter a User Name and PIN. Login help is available on the library website.

• User Name = your W Number (example: W0123456)
• PIN = your 6-digit birthdate (example: March 15, 2001 will be 031501).

SciFinder Registration

First-time users will need to register on the CAS SciFinder website. Once on the registration site, you provide the requested information, selecting your own SciFinder Username and Password.

You will receive an email from CAS and must agree to the conditions of the registration within 48 hours by clicking on a link in that email.

After the registration process is completed, you can access SciFinder from the “S” page of the library’s Articles & Databases tab. Off-campus access to electronic resources requires your W Number and birthdate.

Once at the SciFinder Sign In page, use your SciFinder Username and Password that you selected. Please see the Registering for your SciFinder® Account guide for more information.

Off-campus users may get a “Certificate Error” screen. If one appears, simply click “Continue to this website” to access the database.
