Southeastern Winter Commencements scheduled Dec. 9

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s winter commencements are scheduled
Saturday, Dec. 9, in the University Center.
The 10 a.m. ceremony will host undergraduate and graduate students from the Colleges
of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, and Science and Technology. The
3 p.m. ceremony will host undergraduate and graduate students from the Colleges of
Business and Nursing and Health Sciences. Both ceremonies will last approximately
one and a half hours with Lion Traxx shuttles in use before and after each ceremony.
Prospective graduates will receive several notifications with additional details
to their Southeastern webmail in the coming weeks.
Guests attending the ceremonies should note that the University Center has a
clear bag policy and standard security measures will be in place prior to guests entering
the facility. A list of prohibited items, which includes all food and drink, can be
accessed on the commencement website at southeastern.edu/commencement.
Southeastern’s Registrar’s Office has added a new sign-up feature to the commencement
website for guests to receive the latest updates straight to their email. Further
