 Dr. James Cho is primarily a biopolymer/natural products chemist. He is interested in the biochemical synthesis of inorganic/organic nanomaterials and metal ion-induced biohydrogel formations for biomedical applications.  His research is currently focused on synthesizing chemically/genetically modified (viral) proteins or protein complexes for cancer treatment, antibiotics, electronics, bionanotechnology and microplastics filter production.
