IMPORTANT FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE/CANCELLATION PROCESS CHANGE

 

Southeastern is implementing an updated process through which scheduled classes will be canceled if all appropriate fall balances are not paid in full by the established fee payment deadline of Friday, January 16, 2015 at 12:30 PM. Students are encouraged to check their LeoNet account to ensure no outstanding balances are owed. Classes will be canceled for students with an unpaid balance.

 

Students receiving or anticipating to receive financial aid should make sure anticipated aid is posted to their account. If anticipated aid is not posted, students are not considered paid. Short term payment options to include emergency loans and student payment plans can be utilized if anticipated aid is not enough to cover tuition and fees or other payment arrangements are delayed.

 

Please be aware that the cancellation process is now changing. Students should not wait to pay unpaid balances and check their LeoNet account frequently to ensure classes are not canceled.

FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE

January 16, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. -- Fee Payment Deadline and Class Cancellation For Non-payment for all students registered for Spring 2015 classes. Students who have not paid by 12:30 pm will be cancelled from their classes. Payments must be received and posted to the students account before 12:30 pm. 

Payments made at the Cashier's Office must be in the form of cash, check or money order. All credit card payments must be made via your LeoNet account. Southeastern accepts Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover credit cards.

Southeastern offers two payment options: The Emergency Loan and the Southeastern Payment Plan.

January 19, 2015 -- Students will be financially responsible for any classes remaining on their schedule as of 5:00 pm.

January 20-21, 2015 -- Drop/Add period. Students may make final schedule adjustments until 5:00 pm January 21, 2015. Students will be financially responsible for any classes remaining on their schedule.

January 23, 2015 -- All fee balances incurred during final registration and drop/add must be paid by 12:30 pm, January 23, 2015.

Credit hours and fees for any course taught between enrollment periods (Interim classes) are associated with the nextupcoming semester. For example, courses taught between the Summer Semester and the Fall Semester will be associated with the Fall Semester. Fees will be based on the Fall tuition figures and hours will be included as additional hours for the Fall. Fees for interim courses must be paid on or before the first class meeting day of the interim course.

REFUNDS FOR DROP IN HOURS:

Students who decrease their course load by the end of the drop/add period (January 20-21, 2015 at 5:00 pm), will receive a refund of fees previously paid. To drop all your classes during the drop/add period (January 20-21, 2015), students will need to resign from the university and receive a "W" grade for the last class left on their schedule. Students who reduce their course load after the end of the drop/add period will receive NO refund for this reduction.

 

RESIGNATION REFUND SCHEDULE

In order to receive 100% refund through January 19, 2015, students must drop to ZERO (0) hours. Beginning January 20, 2015, students should resign to receive the refund listed below.

Note: Students who receive Title IV federal financial aid will be refunded based on the below schedule; however, students may be required to repay the unearned portion based on the percentage of classes attended.
