Eva Delatte from Ponchatoula, Louisiana was crowned Miss Southeastern Louisiana University 2025 on January 31, 2025, at the Columbia Theatre. She is a Secondary English Education major, pursuing an International Baccalaureate curriculum certificate. In June, she will compete for the title of Miss Louisiana.

Eva’s Community Service Initiative is called The DREAM Initiative. DREAM stands for Dance, Rhythm, Expression, Acting, and Music. This initiative aims to ensure that children—regardless of their background or financial status—have access to the transformative power of the performing arts, including dance, theater, and music, while simultaneously building community awareness and participation in these art forms. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the profound value of the performing arts in Louisiana and to inspire meaningful, impactful engagement with the arts across all ages and backgrounds.
