Study Abroad
The department is offering two study abroad programs this summer:
Criminal Justice in London: May 2024
The 2024 Study Abroad to the United Kingdom Will Include Visits to Trafalgar Square,
Covent Garden, The Strand, Leicester Square, Westminster Abby & St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Class related activities include: A visit with a London Police Officer, Visits to
the Inns of Court, The Royal Court of Justice, The Old Bailey to observe a Criminal
Trial in Process. An evening walking tour focusing on the History of Jack the Ripper
with visits to locations important to the case. Visits to Parliament and a guided
tour of the Houses of Commons and Lords. A trip to the Guild Hall Policing Museum
and the Tower of London.
Cost: $4,220*
*INCLUDES: SIX hours undergraduate credit (CJ 206: Comparative Criminal Justice Systems
and CJ 400:
Independent Study) OR THREE hours graduate credit (SOC 650: Study Abroad), HOTEL,
DAILY
BREAKFAST, IN COUNTRY TRANSPORTATION (Bus Transfers, London Underground and Docklands
Light Railway – Except Morning of Arrival), TWO DINNERS & EXCURSION ADMISSIONS.
Sociology in Cuba: Summer 2024
