It's the most wonderful time of the year to be a Lion! Plan your Homecoming Week 2019:

Theme: "Keepin' It Real With Roomie!"

Sponsors: Homecoming 2019 is sponsored by Hammond Square, with the Southeastern Student Government Association sponsoring all student-related activities. 

Event Schedule: There is something for everyone during our Homecoming Week festivities. Check out the full schedule, and below are some of the event highlights for students: 

 

Monday, Oct. 7

Homecoming Kick-Off: Get your Homecoming Week started right in the Student Union from 11 am - 2 pm. Grab your 2019 Homecoming T-shirt (while supplies last) and enjoy some free food and fun!

National Pan-Hellenic Council Black Family Reunion at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Mall

 

Tuesday, Oct. 8

Lion Up Tuesday: Show your Lion Pride in green and gold!

Lunch with the Lions: Lunch is served! Stop by the Union Breezeway from 11 am - 1:30 pm to enjoy free lunch (while supplies last)! This is event is brought to you by Southeastern Athletics with assistance from members of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.). 

Phi Kappa Phi Quiz Bowl: Watch students and faculty will battle it out at 2 pm in the Student Union Theatre. 

Give Back Night: Grab dinner for a great cause at "Give Back Night" at both Raising Cane's locations in Hammond from 5-8 pm. Just mention you are there for Southeastern's Give Back Night!  

 

Wednesday, Oct. 10

Gumbo YaYa: It’s a Southeastern tradition! Join us for delicious food, games and fun surprises from 11 am to 2 pm in the Student Union Park. The 2019 Homecoming court will be introduced to the student body during the festivities.

  

“Minute to Win It”: Watch your fellow Lions compete in 60-second challenges at 6 pm at the REC Center.

 

 

Thursday, Oct. 11

Lady Lion Volleyball: Come cheer for the Lady Lions at 7 pm in the University Center.

Lip Sync Contest: This is a favorite event of our students! The fun begins at 8 pm in the University Center.

 

Friday, Oct. 12

Lady Lion Soccer: Join us in Strawberry Stadium at 6 pm for the Homecoming week match against the Lamar Cardinals.

 

Homecoming Day

🚌 Noon: Homecoming Parade

💚 After the parade: Tailgating, reunions, and plenty of fun activities for the whole family!

💛 1:30 pm: Lion Walk through Friendship Circle

🏈 4:00 pm: Homecoming Game Kickoff in Strawberry Stadium

👑 Halftime: Homecoming Queen and King crowning

🎉 After the Game: Continue the fun at Railroad Roar in downtown Hammond, an evening of dining and entertainment with specials offered by participating area businesses.
