Quick Links
You'll find links to some of the most commonly sought after web pages near the bottom-right corner of the gray footer. Quick Links are visible on every page of the website.

University contact information can be found at the Contact link in the gray footer on every page of the website. To find a specific office or department at Southeastern, visit the About section of the website to view an administrative office directory.

New Features
Southeastern's new website boasts several new features and tools to help users connect with the university.

Audience pages filled with fresh content and resources were created for future students, current students, faculty and staff and alumni. There's also a new Campus Life section dedicated to students living on campus, as well as an Outreach section focused on the local community and region.

A live Degree Search tool – one of a few of its kind being used by universities nationwide – allows users to type a degree name or keyword of interest to receive a list of related Southeastern degree programs.

The live Online Chat tool connects future and current students with the Student Help Desk during designated hours. There are plans to make chat available for the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid and other offices in the future.

A new University Calendar features all Southeastern events from major annual festivals to small organizational meetings. Users can sort by category to view only the events most relevant to them, and they can subscribe to categories using RSS feeds. The new calendar also includes a map feature to help users quickly determine each event's location.

Southeastern.edu is also responsive, allowing it to display correctly on any type of device from desktop computers to smartphones. The website's home page, audience pages and main sections all were updated in the first phase of the redesign project. In phase two, Southeastern's colleges and departments will update their web pages. Finally, in phase three, the web pages for all administrative offices and campus organizations will be updated.

Led by the Office of Technology, planning for the new website began in late 2012. Students, faculty and staff participated in focus groups and on the planning committee so that all university stakeholders had a hand in the project. The project was largely completed in-house by Southeastern staff.
