     HAMMOND – Several students at Southeastern Louisiana University were honored May 1 at the annual academic convocation sponsored by the College of Business.

     Dean Antoinette Phillips also recognized those students inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma honor society and Southeastern’s own honor society, the Thirteen Club.
     Students recognized with awards included:

Ascension Parish: Chelsie Reed, Gonzales, Distinguished Graduate in Supply Chain Management.

East Baton Rouge Parish: Katherine Clark, Baton Rouge, Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration.

Jefferson Parish: Kristal Terrell, Metairie, Distinguished Graduate in Marketing.

Livingston Parish: Brittany Chedraui, Denham Springs, Distinguished Graduate in Accounting; and Kathryn Bokun, Walker, Distinguished Graduate in Finance.

St. Tammany Parish: Alexis Taylor, Covington, Distinguished Graduate in Management; and Cecilia Ruiz, Slidell, Distinguished Graduate in Economics.

Bakersfield, Calif.: Elizabeth McMurray-Hunter, Distinguished Graduate in Finance.

1) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ASCENSION BUSINESS STUDENT (Ascension) – Chelsie Reed of Gonzales was recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Supply Chain Management by the Southeastern Louisiana University College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 1.

2) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS BATON ROUGE BUSINESS STUDENT (East Baton Rouge) – Katherine Clark of Baton Rouge was recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Business Administration by the Southeastern Louisiana University College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 1.

3) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS JEFFERSON PARISH BUSINESS STUDENT (Jefferson) – Kristal Terrell of Metairie was recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Marketing by Southeastern Louisiana University’s College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 1.

4) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS LIVINGSTON BUSINESS STUDENTS (Livingston) – The Southeastern Louisiana University College of Business recognized two Livingston Parish students as distinguished graduates at the college’s honors convocation held May 1. Pictured are Brittany Chedraui of Denham Springs, left, who received the Distinguished Graduate in Accounting, and Kathryn Bokun of Walker, who was honored as the Distinguished Graduate in Finance.

5) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS ST. TAMMANY BUSINESS STUDENT (St. Tammany) – Cecilia Ruiz of Slidell was recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Economics by the Southeastern Louisiana University College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 1.

6) SOUTHEASTERN HONORS CALIFORNIA BUSINESS STUDENT (California) – Elizabeth McMurray-Hunter of Bakersfield, Calif., was recognized as the Distinguished Graduate in Finance by the Southeastern Louisiana University College of Business at the college’s honors convocation held May 1.
