HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana
University is hosting a digital marketing seminar March 11 in Hammond titled “Digital
Marketing: The Process.”
Co-sponsored by the US Small Business Administration, the workshop is scheduled
from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center, located at 1514
Martens Dr. The cost of the seminar is $20.
SBDC Training Coordinator Karen Romero said topics to be discussed include purpose
and brand, content creation, content distribution, and a deeper dive into social media.
The guest speaker for the seminar is Orhan McMillan, founder and managing partner
of dezinsINTERACTIVE, a creative interactive branding, web development and marketing
firm that he started in 2001. A native of Baton Rouge, McMillan has been in the web
development and graphic design industry for over 25 years.
“Orhan and his team provide graphic, web, and strategic marketing services to
businesses, associations, and nonprofits of all shapes and sizes,” Romero said. “He
is also a very active member in his community, serving as both a participant and advocate
for groups who support the understanding that by bringing equal access to all citizens,
we uplift and grow our community as a whole.”
