Southeastern Computer Science Department to present second lecture of new series

HAMMOND – Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Computer Science
is hosting the second installment of the new Industry Connect Distinguished Lecture
Series Nov. 19 from 4 to 5 p.m. Scheduled in the Envoc Innovation Lab, located in
room 2026 in the Computer Science and Technology Building, the lecture, titled “Mobile
Dev for Business: What I’ve Learned,” features speaker CEO and Co-Founder of Elevator3
Brandon Cornett.
“In this talk, we’ll discuss why mobile apps are becoming more significant to
businesses across the board every year,” Cornett said. “I’ll walk you through some
of the recurring issues I’ve encountered when creating mobile apps over my 11-year
career. We’ll then talk about what you can do to avoid those issues when developing
your own apps.”
Although maximum capacity for the event is 15 with some overflow available in
the adjoining room as well, all are invited to join in via Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/foo-fnjj-shw.
